Chik'n Teriyaki Bowl

INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Alpha Foods Homestyle Chik'n Strips
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare Rice and Chik'n:
Cook brown rice according to package instructions. In a skillet, cook Alpha Foods Homestyle Chik'n Strips until heated through. - Steam Broccoli:
Steam broccoli until tender yet crisp. - Make Teriyaki Sauce:
Whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, grated ginger, minced garlic. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry for thickening. - Combine & Saute:
Add broccoli to the skillet with Chik'n. Pour teriyaki sauce over and stir to coat. - Thicken Sauce & Assemble:
Add cornstarch slurry to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens. Divide brown rice among bowls. Spoon teriyaki Chik'n and broccoli over rice. - Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
